Over the past decade, we have been honored to stand alongside countless champions of our mission—individuals, communities, and organizations who have passionately supported our work to deliver life-changing programs to thousands of adolescent girls around the world. Together, we have equipped these young leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to confront and solve some of our world's most pressing problems. We are committed to this work not because girls need our help, but because the world needs them—their ideas, their energy, and their solutions. Girls’ education is not only a fundamental right but also a critical pathway to creating a better future for all.

Although we've seen significant progress over the last decade, barriers to education to girls' education persist, and in some cases, are worsening due to climate change, conflict, displacement and even backlash to the advancement of women's rights. We remain steadfast in our vision of a future of change—a future where all girls learn, rise and thrive. We invite you to join us in reflecting on a decade of impact and looking forward to a future filled with possibility and progress, where every girl can unlock her full potential and drive transformative change in her community and beyond.

Future Directions

At Girl Rising, our commitment to improving the impact of our program never stops. We continuously evaluate our work and strive to understand the evolving needs of our partners and the young people we serve. This year, in response to feedback and the changing landscape of barriers to girls' education, we are expanding our education programs to include new focus areas such as reproductive health, climate change, and storytelling. We are also broadening our reach to fully engage key stakeholders—parents, teachers, and school administrators—in addressing these barriers. As we move forward, our programs are evolving to meet the needs of our partners and the changing barriers to girls' education.
