OUR PARTNERS

Girl Rising has partnered with the International Rescue Committee, Citi, HP and Amplifier to raise awareness about the global humanitarian crisis of more than 68 million forcibly displaced peoples around the world. We hope you will join us in calling attention to this timely and urgent issue.

At Citi, we’re committed to supporting gender equality and women’s economic empowerment as part of our mission to enable growth and progress for all. As the leading global bank, we have a responsibility to use our presence in over 160 countries and jurisdictions to amplify issues that affect people across the world. We activate these commitments through a range of initiatives across our core business and philanthropic efforts, such as our collaboration with Girl Rising. In the face of a refugee crisis that’s left 68.5 million people displaced, and that affects women and girls most acutely, we are proud to stand with Girl Rising to raise awareness and inspire action.

The International Rescue Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 28 offices across the U.S. helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future, and strengthen their communities.
Amplifier is a design lab that builds art and media experiments to amplify the most important movements of our times. We design and distribute art that engages people in the creation of a more just, inclusive and sustainable future. Since 2015, we've worked with over 300 renowned artists, distributed over a million pieces of art and sent free artwork to hundreds of thousands of students across the United States.
We believe that technology should make life better for everyone, everywhere. People, wherever they are, should have the opportunity to improve their livelihoods and thrive. Technology is a key enabler in reaching underserved and displaced populations, providing ready access to new ways of learning. Our belief is that education is a human right (regardless of who or where you are in the world), that we see technology as a great tool to accelerate progress and close the gap. We are committed to shifting mindsets and reinventing the way people think about refugees.
