Join us on Thursday, October 10th for the Girl Rising 10th Anniversary Gala: A Decade of Impact, A Future of Change. This event will raise crucial funds to help us create a seismic shift in the ways girls around the world value themselves - and the way their teachers, parents and communities value them.
Girl Rising is a girls' education nonprofit with a mission to use the power of storytelling to change the way the world values girls and their education. Through our global programs, we are working to break the barriers to girls’ education.
For ten years Girl Rising has been at the forefront of advancing girls’ education and gender equity. While the "Girl Rising" film premiered in 2013 and our initial journey began even before that when a group of journalists and filmmakers embarked on creating the groundbreaking documentary, this year, 2024, marks an important milestone - a decade of delivering innovative and effective programs to advance our mission.
