#IAmGirlRising10 is a campaign to celebrate the actions people are taking in their lives, communities, and around the world to build a future where all girls can learn, rise, and thrive. Timed with International Day of the Girl and Girl Rising’s 10th anniversary, we want your voice to be part of the movement!
Get Involved:
Start sharing throughout the month of October! Create authentic content that reflects your commitment to gender equity, climate justice, education rights, or any issue you care about. Use the hashtag #IAmGirlRising10 and tag @girlrising. While the platform and content are up to you, we’ve provided guidance and downloadable designs to help you get started.
Create a Video:
Introduce yourself and share how you’re creating a better future or what you envision for a better world.
Prioritize good lighting: Film in a well-lit area, preferably using natural light (face a window or film outside in the shade).
Ensure clear sound: Record in a quiet space to minimize background noise. Speak clearly and at a steady pace.
Conclude by saying, "I am Girl Rising," while showing “Girl Rising” written on one or both hands.
Post on the platform of your choice using #IAmGirlRising10 and tag @girlrising.
