Thirty years of research shows that an educated girl is more likely to stay healthy, save money, build a business, have fewer and healthier children, innovate community solutions and educate her sons and daughters equally. Girl Rising appreciates each and every partner who is helping us build a future where this is a reality for all girls.
Citi provided funding and resources to develop the Girl Rising Financial Empowerment Module, the latest addition to our curriculum. With co-hosted pilots in Houston, TX and Tampa, FL, our Educators Program is reaching new parts of the country and empowering students to create change. Explore our partnership here.
India's Ministry of Women and Child Development invested funding to broadcast GR Public Service Announcements across television networks and in over 3,000 cinema halls across the country, reaching millions of new viewers with provocative yet relatable content about the need to invest in girls and boys equally.
SWODEN collaborated with GR on a series of empowerment workshops in Nigeria. Following the completion of the curriculum, participants reported greater awareness about girls' education and a desire to take further action, such as teaching others about the value of education, equality and gaining vocational skills.
Our Impact Partners work diligently with girls, their families and communities to create a better world for all. They deliver life-changing services and programming, and work with us to bring our campaign to areas where girls are especially vulnerable.
